Avoid fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen and alcohol for a few days prior to your treatment. These substances are natural blood thinner and will make you more likely to bruise. Avoid supplements including St. John’s Wart, gingko biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E for 1 week prior to your treatment.
What should I avoid after mesotherapy?
Set your activity level low and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Avoid sun (and sunbeds), saunas and steam rooms, heat, and alcohol or salt for 72 hours. Avoid consuming overindulgent amounts of food or alcoholic beverages to prevent swelling. If you have swelling, use a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.
